THIS WRITERS' CIRCLE IS NO LONGER RUNNING, due to lack of interest.

If enough people contact me with commitment to get it going, we'll reconsider this.

We are a new writers' group, just starting up in Ludham, usually to be held at the home of writer and publisher Jo Holloway. We exist to encourage writers in all genres and at all stages of their writing - even those who are only thinking of writing! Our hope is that a good mix of the experienced and inexperienced will make for an inspirational setting in which we can all learn from and teach one another.

This initiative is for all people who love to write, whether you're a novice or an experienced author - the idea is to be amongst other writers, to learn from or to nurture others. Publishers and readers also very welcome: you don't have to write to love books! Open to anyone from age 15 to 150!

We serve the Norfolk area and surrounds - if you're happy to travel the distance, we'd love to see you.

Bring a piece of your writing to read, for constructive feedback. Monthly Topics, for inspiration. Talks and workshops by experienced writers/authors when we can arrange them. Suggestions welcome!

Note: because we are also open to young people, and out of respect for other members generally, we will not be having readings or discussions on work that is not of a family-acceptable nature.
